Etang de Janine

I think this should read more like a premium fishery brochure than a list of rules. Here’s a complete rewrite:

A Little About Us

I’ve been living in France for over 20 years and have enjoyed carp fishing for more than 45 years. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have built a career around the sport I love.

I’m also the owner of Loirbaits, a specialist carp bait company where quality has always been our priority. Whether you’re looking for boilies, particles, spod mixes, pellets, hookbaits or liquid attractants, we can supply everything you need for a successful session.

From 2027, my son Jack Scott will take over the day-to-day management of Étang de Janine. Jack has grown up around carp fishing and the lake, and I’m confident the venue will continue to thrive under his care.

Karen and I won’t be disappearing—we’ll still be here, looking after the kitchen and ensuring everyone enjoys freshly prepared meals and a warm welcome throughout their stay.

With the opening of Dad’s Lake in October 2027, my time will be shared between both venues, but our commitment to providing a first-class fishing experience at Étang de Janine remains exactly the same.

We look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy your stay with us

DAVID SCOTT
